Using the App

Before you start

• Download and open the Outdorr app.
• Sign in or create an account. You can use your email and password, or Google sign-in where available.
• Complete your profile so other attendees can recognise you when you choose to connect.

Get around the app

1. Discover events. Open Discover to browse event collections. Tap an event card to see its details, including the date, time, location and available ticket options.
2. Search for an event. Open Search when you want to look for a particular event or explore what is available.
3. Save events for later. Open an event and save it if you are interested but not ready to attend. Find saved events later in My Events.
4. Keep track of your plans. Open My Events to see events you are Attending, Saved events, and Past events.
5. Get your Event Pass. After your registration is linked to your account, your Event Pass can show your ticket information and QR code for entry.
6. Meet other attendees. From an Event Pass, select Find Buddies to explore attendee connections for that event. Face verification is required before you can connect with verified attendees.
7. Manage connection requests and messages. Open Messages to view conversations. Use the Requests tab to accept or decline connection requests. Once a connection is accepted, you can message that person directly.
8. Stay updated. Open Notifications to see updates such as event reminders, connection activity and other account updates. You can mark notifications as read.
9. Manage your account. Use the profile menu to open Profile or Settings. Here you can update your profile details and app preferences, including the language when available.

Good to know. The labels and available options can differ slightly by event, ticket status and your account state. If an Event Pass is not showing yet, make sure you are signed in to the account linked to the registration.
